"Taylor", "Ryan" and "Sharpay" Tell All! || 19 May 2006
In Beverly Hills at the posh 4 Seasons Hotel recently, we got to gab with three of the hot stars of the mega-popular TV movie turned entertainment phenomenon "High School Musical". With the DVD coming out on the 23rd, it was time for a Hollywood Premiere that drew a lot of the talented major cast members. Earlier in the day, after catching most of the cast sitting in a hotel suite watching themselves on the new DVD special features, we sat down with young 20-somethings Monique Coleman, who plays brainy Taylor, and super ambitious "twins" Lucas Grabeel (Ryan) and Ashley Tisdale (Sharpay).
Monique and Ashley have both appeared on TV's "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody" and each had no idea that the other girl was auditioning for "High School Musical" until they ran into each other in a hallway in Utah. Cute Lucas was in "Halloweentown High" and had roles on "Veronica Mars" and "Boston Legal" before singing and dancing his way into the HSM cast.
Picture the girls in different but color-coordinated black and white summer dresses and Lucas sitting between them in a bright blue t-shirt as they give you some great success advice, relate their experiences and rate the most awesome to "most improved" dancers in the cast.
