Promos have begun for the Jan. 20 premiere of Disney Channel's original movie "High School Musical," which features Lucas Grabeel from Springfield in one of the leading roles.
As part of the movie's promotion, Grabeel makes a guest appearance on Disney Channel's "Totally Suite New Years Eve," airing Saturday from 5 to 11:30 p.m. The annual viewer's choice event is hosted this year by cast members from Disney's "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody," including Ashley Tisdale.
The actress also plays Grabeel's sister in "High School Musical." Zac Efron and Vanessa Anne Hudgens, who play the movie's romantic leads, appear with Grabeel during Saturday's televised event that features numerous Disney actors.
Grabeel was last seen on TV in November during episodes of "Boston Legal" and, in a role that will recur, "Veronica Mars."
